Daniel McMunigal


Daniel was the son of Stephen #44871840 and Eve France McMonigal # 44871882, one of tewelve children. His last sister Lavina Frantz born 1841 died in 1929 # 55039133.

In 1880 Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, Daniel is a coal miner, 38, with Eliza Jane 31, Sarah F. 10, Blanche A. 8, Amanda J. 7, Henrietta 5, Stephen H.l 4, and Gardne W. 2.

Daniel cash-claimed a quarter in 8, 3N 48W in 1891, near a number of other 1890-1891 cash claimants.

Daniel proved up a quarter in 30, 2N 48W in 1896 - about two miles west of Yuma.

In 1900 Daniel's land was to be sold at auction in payment of a note of $57.00.

In 1900 Daniel was in Denver, working at a livery stable, born July 1843 , married 32 years to Eliza born March 1850, with Henrietta V. Oct 1876 and Gardner W. December 1877, all four born in Pennsylvania. Eliza has had for other kids, all living.

Daniel F. McMunigal is buried in Riverside cemetery, Denver, 1843-1907, # 33520584, with Eliza L.'s name on the stone with out a death date.

Eliza J. McMunigal married Aquilla McKinnon in Denver August 20, 1914.

In 1920 Denver, Aquilla, 73 born in Ohio, and Elizabeth 70 Pennsylvania are living alone.

Aquilla 1846-1925 is buried in Denver Riverside # 3351907.

Gard Marcellus McMonigal 1877-1956 - Spanish-American War vet is buried in Inglewood, California # 135607480.
He was born in Pennsylvania Dec 5, 1877, mother's maiden name Barber, dying in Los Angeles County June 16, 1956.
